Private Z mini-forums are
created by Dr. Hopkins in which Zers can safely communicate with
each other without public access. Tactics, recipes, ideas, and
encouragement are shared within the Z group. Some participants
are involved in multiple groups, learning and maintaining with
those who have walked the path along our sides. There continues
to be no weight loss products associated with this plan and all
Z forums and presentations have no admission costs. You will not
see advertisements of any kind associated with this plan. Z is
spread from person to person, family to family as good news.
This occurs in all forms of the media as well.

2009 Z Testimonies
Jane: New Sharon, Iowa
"I have a friend who wants to
start Z. I have loaned all my books out! I am giving her your
website so she can check it out and go for it. The store by
where she lives has vitamins 50% off. I will be ordering my 3rd
book, or is it the 4th?, within the next few days. I still can't
believe how differently I eat!"
Sally: Central City, Kentucky
“She saw another lady who is
starting Z at our Wal-Mart with her book and buying vitamins. I
think you’ve grown bigger here than I knew!"
Alanna: Kempner, Texas
“Thank you so much for this
book. What a true God-send!”
Martha: Munfordville, Kentucky
“I continue to lose, thanks to
Z. This is amazing; I have lost 15.8 pounds and have been on the
program for fifteen days. Wow!!!!"
Pam:
Terre Haute, Indiana
"I talked to you when you stopped by our radio stations on your
way to the Terre Haute Public Library
this past December. You were kind enough to leave several books
for us, in case we were interested in “Z”. My husband is 57 and
I am 55; both overweight, wanting to slim down but know how most
diets
fail. We tried the South Beach diet several years ago, lost 20
pounds in 2 weeks only to gain it and more back."
"We decided to give “Z” a try
after the first of the year, around January 3, 2009. I bought
the vitamins at Walmart and we started. We decided that instead
of going all the way down to 400 calories, we would take the
slower road to success, so we stay around 800 to 1,000 calories
a day. It’s been amazing what
we have lost! Mike has lost 38 pounds on his way to losing his
goal of 50 pounds, and today I stepped on the scale 26 pounds
lighter, on the way to my goal of 45 pounds! This is truly the
best and easiest way to drop the weight! THANK YOU!!!!!"
"We still go out to eat and I
have no problem carrying my Parkay, zero calorie, spray butter
and fat free salad dressings with me to use. We have found
several Italian and Balsamic fat free dressings that
have as low as 5 calories per 2 tbs. If you like a sweet salad
dressing, mix some up with your favorite sugar substitute and
use. We’ve had 5 birthdays in the past 34 days and were still
able to enjoy a small piece of cake with my favorite butter
cream frosting at each party!!!!! Counting calories is the
easiest way to lose weight and still enjoy food. Thanks again
for stopping by our stations. Your book has made such a
difference in my life!!!"
(Pam is the Office Manager of multiple radio stations in Terre
Haute, Indiana.)
Lynn: Bowling Green, Kentucky
"I truly believe that skipping
meals will not work. Even if you don't want a lot of calorie
intake at breakfast, just eat something."
Cathy:
Lynnville, Iowa
"I have NEVER been here, ever! I am wondering what my Z birthday
will be??!! It will be a surprise, for sure!"
Anna:
Bonnieville, Kentucky
"My intake for the last few days is around 800 cals a day.
Something else I thought about is this: last month my doctor
lowered my thyroid medication!!!"
Jean: Louisville, Kentucky
"The holidays are over and my daughter, Cindy, and I are ready
to get on with Z. We are starting tomorrow so you should be
hearing from us on a daily basis. She has read the book and
seems very interested in getting started. Thank you for helping
us."
Connie:
Terre Haute, Indiana
"Sounds like a winner! I read the entire book yesterday; it is
really motivating. I think being in a group would be fun too.
How do you keep up with so many people?"
Mandy: Morgantown, Kentucky
"I would have already got to Z if I would have stuck to it
during the month of December. The day after Christmas I got
right back on track and have been losing ever since. Since
December 26th, I have lost 35.6 more pounds already. I work
right beside Melissa from Morgantown and I am emailing you to
help her too."
Diana: LeRoy, Illinois:
"WOW!!!!! I am amazed at how easily this has worked. I Praise
God for giving you the knowledge to be able to do this. My
birthday is in July......I am believing that I am going to NEED
some new things to wear!!!!! I am so excited. Thanks again."
Judy:
Rockdale, Texas
"I heard about Z from my brother who lives in Bowling Green. He
and his wife own/manage Culver's Restaurant. He has lost 46 lbs.
very quickly and his wife has lost 25. I haven't seen him since
he began this program, but am encouraged by his ability to stay
with it. He loves to cook and eat and he says this is the only
program that has worked for him in 20+ years. Any helpful advice
you have would be greatly appreciated."
Lynn:
Bowling Green, KY
"Just thought I would let everyone know that my husband and I
will be
going to Glasgow on Thursday for the Z meeting. Join us if you
can!!
We look forward to seeing you again, Dr. B!!!
L :) "
A faithful Zer and now a close
friend: Bowling Green, KY
"Dr. B,
Thank you, thank you for your encouragement. I tear up as I
think about all the failures I’ve had in the past and I just
KNOW that God has led me here and will be with me every step of
the way on this journey to weight loss and better health. I
believe it all started when my daughter's teeth were injured and
she was under your care. Yes, it is 10 years later now, but that
was before you even came up with Z and now look where we are
today. How amazing our God is! Have been talking with a girl at
the Fashion Bug...she's interested and I'm sending her info to
check out your web site."
Tim:
Baghdad, Iraq; via Fort Bragg, North Carolina; via Medford,
Massachusetts
My journey with Z began in the summer of 2006 while stationed at
Fort Bragg in North Carolina. I was assigned to an airborne unit
and physical fitness was, and still is, a major part of life
there. We would run an average of 20 miles per week and were
always working to improve our run times as well as the distances
we ran. The army has weight standards each soldier must meet, a
maximum allowable weight for your height. I was overweight and
knew the extra pounds I was carrying around were a liability. I
had to lose the excess weight or I was not going to be able to
keep up with my fellow soldiers. This is when I learned about Z,
the Ultimate Resolution.
One night while checking out a
Mustang forum board I read a post about weight loss by this guy
Daniel. Daniel had started this particular post a few months
prior and was updating his progress regularly. Each post
included the number of pounds he lost, how much fun he was
having doing it, and also what the program was. The post had
started a few months earlier and Daniel had already lost over 70
pounds. I went to the Z web site and ordered my book the same
night.
I was in my second month of Z
when the others in my unit noticed the amount of weight I had
lost. I was enjoying lunch with my platoon sergeant when he
asked me if I would share what I was doing with a few of the
heavier guys in the company. I was more than happy to do it.
That day the heavy guys came up to me and started asking me
about how I was dropping the weight so fast. The funny thing
about weight loss, as you may have noticed, is the unsolicited
advice you get from everyone. I always tune these people out as
well. I told my buddies I would be more than happy to share with
them my experience with Z if they wanted. They all did. I still
get a kick out of the look on their faces when I told them about
the pizza I would eat for dinner and the chocolate I would have
as a snack. These guys were shortly on their way to Z and made
very good progress. Z will give you simple adjustments that will
give you fantastic results.
(Drill sergeants sent several new men at camp to Tim for advice
and told them it was because he had "the right stuff." Give
thanks for our soldiers please. Daniel B. currently holds the
men's Z record of 175 pounds in nine months. His physician
encourages him to finish what he started, from an incredible 441
pounds to 266 pounds. Daniel is from Brownsville, KY, and is an
inspiration to many since the start of his journey to Z).
